Hypocrisy

Last year, you took it upon yourself to have a discussion with L about how much she was playing a certain video game with me.  You made it out how you missed playing games with her and you missed spending time with her.

So, out of respect for your feelings and your relationship, L and I cut back our playing days to ONE day a week.

How many times have you played a game with her since then?  I can tell you.  None.  Not once.

However, ALL you do in your free time is play games and completely ignore L.  But, yet…it was an issue for YOU when she was playing more than YOU wanted her to.

I told her then that you sounded very manipulative.  She assured me it wasn’t like that.

Guess what?

That’s manipulation.

What’s even better is that recently she brought that incident up to you and you claimed to have no memory of doing/saying that.  However, you were “wrong if [you] did that”.

Gaslighting.  Manipulation.  Toxic.

She tells you that she’s lonely.  You say you are too.  She changed basically everything in her schedule to make things better for YOU because YOU ASKED HER TO, essentially isolating herself.  You do the complete opposite – you decide to ignore her.  You decide that gaming is paramount to your relationship.  Yet, you make everything sound like SHE was the problem.

Toxic and gross.

Which leads really well into the next section.
